CARDOS warning triangle
a reflective triangle placed on the road to avoid a collision behind a vehicle that may block traffic in the lane in which it has stopped or broken down. The triangle can also be attached to the back of the car to inform those behind you of a breakdown and prevent an accident.

Remember! A warning triangle is mandatory equipment for every four-wheeled vehicle in Poland.

Description of use:

remove the CARDOS warning triangle from the lid and unfold it

on a highway or motorway,

turn on the vehicle's hazard lights, place the CARDOS warning triangle 100 m behind the place where the car is, depending on whether it is on the side of the road or on the road, place the triangle in the same way

On other roads:

outside built-up areas – turn on the vehicle's hazard lights, place the CARDOS warning triangle 30-50 m behind the car, depending on whether it is on the side of the road or on the road, place the triangle in the same way

in an urban area – turn on the vehicle's hazard lights, place the CARDOS warning triangle in a safe place behind the car or directly on the vehicle

* if the vehicle is not equipped with hazard lights or they have been damaged following a collision, in the above cases the dipped headlights must be turned on.
